Our estate is situated at 116 Via San Bernardino da Siena, in Santa Maria degli Angeli, in a strategic location nestled in the countryside, a 10-minute drive from the historic centre of Assisi.

Valle di Assisi does not offer a private shuttle service. If you are travelling by train, you can easily reach the hotel by taking a taxi directly from Assisi railway station. If you wish, our reception staff will be happy to book one for you.

Rooms are available for check-in from 3.00 pm, whilst check-out must take place by 11.00 am on the day of departure.

Your stay always includes Wi-Fi access, private outdoor parking with use of electric car charging points, use of bicycles within our estate, access to the seasonal outdoor swimming pools, and use of the gym, tennis courts, padel courts and five-a-side football pitches, subject to booking a time slot. Access to the spa and other specific services is included only in certain rates or packages.

You can park free of charge in the property’s private outdoor car parks, which are located both near the hotel – with its restaurant and spa – and near the apartments. Please note that we do not have an indoor car park.

You’ll be spoilt for choice! You can work out in our fully-equipped gym, hire an e-bike to explore the surrounding area, book cookery classes (advance booking required), book a cycling tour with our BikeManager (advance booking required) or play sport on our padel, tennis and five-a-side football courts. Tennis lessons can also be booked. For relaxation, spa treatments await you, whilst in the surrounding area you can go on excursions and cultural visits to the lovely Umbrian villages. 

Yes, we offer a laundry service for our guests during their stay. Items will be returned within 24 hours (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).

On our 80-hectare estate, we offer free use of bicycles and access to the tennis, padel and five-a-side football courts, subject to booking a time slot. You can also book private tennis lessons for adults and children.

Yes, guests have access to a well-equipped gym with cardio and strength training equipment. 

Yes, we are a verified establishment and are proud to display the ‘Proud Certified’ badge, guaranteeing all travellers a welcoming, safe and inclusive stay.

We offer spacious family suites within the hotel and comfortable apartments at the Country Resort (such as the Deluxe three-room apartments and the Duplexes), which are ideal for comfortably accommodating groups and families of up to 6 people. And, of course, there is the Villa, which can accommodate up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms.

Yes, we have outdoor play areas and a small indoor playroom. The play areas are completely free of charge.

Whilst there is no formal Baby Club or continuous entertainment programme, the resort is perfectly equipped to cater for families. We offer a private babysitting service on request and by prior booking, outdoor play areas, an indoor playroom and the option to book tennis lessons for children. Furthermore, to ensure maximum comfort in your room, we provide cots and bed rails.

We take great care of our younger guests: in the restaurant, we offer special menus and prepare baby food on request.

Yes, children aged 0 to 12 and teenagers up to the age of 15 are welcome to use the Family SPA area within our Social SPA during the designated time frames.

The outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally and is unheated. Access is restricted exclusively to guests staying at the Hotel and the Country Resort; external guests are not permitted entry.

Yes, we always offer special deals for New Year’s Eve, Christmas, Easter and the main long weekends of the year. These special packages often include traditional festive lunches, a New Year’s Eve dinner or tastings of the wine and organic extra virgin olive oil produced directly on our estate. We are happy to welcome dogs and other pets, but to ensure the comfort of all guests, they are only permitted in the hotel’s Classic Rooms and within all the apartments and country suites at the country resort.

A compulsory surcharge of 30 euros is required for the entire stay, to cover the cost of a thorough clean and final sanitisation of the room. Dogs are welcome in the breakfast room (provided they remain outside the buffet area) and at the Recanto restaurant. Please note that if your dog is left alone in the room, the staff will not be able to carry out the daily cleaning service. A dog-sitting service can be booked on request and for a fee.

At Valle di Assisi, pets are welcome; the hotel offers specific accommodation options (Classic rooms, apartments and Country Suites) for guests travelling with pets.
Four-legged friends are allowed in the restaurant and breakfast room alongside their owners; they must remain close to their owners and must not enter the buffet area.
Dogs are permitted in the poolside areas and the surrounding garden. You can relax on the sun loungers whilst keeping your dog close by on the lawn. Naturally, for hygiene reasons, pets are not permitted to enter the swimming pools directly.

We are not always open for lunch. The Recanto Restaurant is open every day for dinner and, on request, for lunch as well. We recommend that you check our opening times and book in advance to secure a table. Booking is always required. 

Recanto Restaurant welcomes you for dinner from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm (last admission to the dining room). As we receive a high volume of bookings, reservations are essential. 

Absolutely! The Recanto Restaurant is also open to non-residents. Whether it’s for a special dinner or to round off a relaxing day, we’ll be delighted to welcome you. Due to high demand, please note that bookings are always required.

Absolutely! At Valle di Assisi, we’re happy to cater for all dietary preferences and requirements. Whether it’s breakfast or the menu at the Recanto Restaurant, you’ll always find vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free options. The Social SPA programme lasts 3 hours and includes access to our entire 700 m² wellness area (indoor pool with neck waterfall, two whirlpool baths, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, salt relaxation room, mindfulness meditation room, Kneipp sensory and vertical showers, ice fountain, aromatherapy and chromotherapy).
The Private SPA, on the other hand, lasts 2 hours and offers you a completely private area with a Turkish bath, Hammam Ritual, sauna, water paradise, cold water cascade and scented whirlpool. It also includes sweet pastries, herbal teas and access to the Social area.
